Privacy Policy — Doodle Defenders

Prickle Pear Games (a brand of Prickle Pear Software, LLC) · Effective August 11, 2026

The short version: Doodle Defenders is an offline, single-player game. It collects no personal data — no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. The only thing it ever talks to is your app store, to check whether you own the optional full-game unlock.

Doodle Defenders is developed and published by Prickle Pear Software, LLC, operating as Prickle Pear Games (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how the app handles your information.

Data we collect

None. Doodle Defenders does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We run no servers of our own, and nothing from the app reaches us. Its only off-device communication is with Google Play or the App Store, for the purchase described below.

Data stored on your device

Your game progress — high scores, achievements, unlocked cosmetics, settings, and whether you own the full-game unlock — is saved only in the app's private storage on your own device. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Purchases

Doodle Defenders is free to try, with one optional $2.99 unlock for the full game. The purchase is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store; we never see your payment details, and no payment information is stored by the app or sent to us. Each time the game starts it asks the store whether you already own the unlock, so your purchase survives a reinstall or a move to a new device. Anything Google or Apple do with that transaction is governed by their own privacy policies.

The save-code feature

The optional Save Code tool in Settings copies your game progress to your device's clipboard as a text code, so you can back it up or move it to another device. This happens only when you tap the button, the code contains only game statistics (never personal information), and where you paste it is entirely up to you. The app never transmits it anywhere.

Sharing a run card

When a run ends you can tap Share to turn its results into an image and hand it to your device's share sheet. The image is drawn on your device, shows only game statistics, and goes only to whichever app you choose to send it to. The game never uploads it.

Device backups

Depending on your device settings, Android may include the game's save data in your personal Google account backup (Android Auto Backup), and iOS may include it in your iCloud or computer backup. Those backups belong to you and are governed by Google's and Apple's terms; we have no access to them.

App permissions

The app requests no other permissions. On Android it does not request the internet permission; the store handles the purchase check through the Google Play app itself.

Children

The game collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the game ever changes in a way that affects privacy (for example, adding online features), this page will be updated before that version is released, with a new effective date.
